Assignment: Plan and sketch a potential semester project

A lot of things in the world are being built with such advanced technologies, but in order to create such things, products and resources go through costly processes just so consumers can get axcess to them. The idea I came up with as a final project for FAB ACADEMY is building a mini motorized vehicle that operates via solar energy. This project is mostly fun moreso than innovative.

I realize in present day cars have been created that operate with solar energy, biodiesel fuel and electricity. The purpose of this project is to incorporate all the projects we will be given throughout the semester. That being said, the following are aspects of what my project will encompass:

cardboard material for its shape via 3D CAD
3D printed tires
motor (as its output)
remote control (as its input)

What I plan to do that may be the innovative part of my project is using a beacon on the car, building a charging station, and by placing a sensor on the charging station the car will be able to charge itself.
